Around the perimeter revolves the kaleidoscopic spectra of New Zealand Paua shell. Upon close examination, you will relish the surrounding protective aura of the South Pacific Black Pearls, including one anchored in the epicenter of the integrally carved soy sauce dish ~ our unique and innovative feature! Thus, the patented Black Pearl Geta™ is born.  This is registered US Patent No. D863,890.

Due to its elegance and beauty, the pearl has been associated through the ages with the “matrix of life” itself. Born from the womb of the earth mother's greatest gift, the gift of water. The ancients said that the pearl helped to balance the human body’s natural rhythms and aided one in the expectation of great peace and happiness. Pearls, especially the Black, were known to the early Polynesians as "the guardian stone", based on its intrinsic energy, known to protect its owner from harm, especially when fashioned in the form of a focal point accessory or as a chain. To this day, a chain, a ring . . . a string of pearls is a traditional object of beauty, protecting all it surrounds and all that surrounds it. And now you know . . . The Geta is the traditional Japanese flat wooden sandal. Its resemblance to the "Sushi Geta", used for serving select portions of sushi and sashimi is obvious. The earliest known examples of these come from dynastic southern China as early 1300 AD. Size of each Black Pearl Geta is 6 1/8" x 11 5/8". The Curious Chronicle of Long Life Ahead® 

The inception of the Affirmational Brand Long Life Ahead® was in the Summer of 2015, when I awoke one morning with the message firmly ingrained in my head, a message from beyond, that had lingered in my consciousness for 35 years .  .  .  I was living in the remote hamlet of Oberhofen along the Lake of Thun, in the Alps of Switzerland. I clearly remember that cold January night. I received a call, and it was Dad. He just said, “Son, Mom died today. She held my hand and told me she loved us, and that you guys have a lot more living to do, there’s a Long Life Ahead”. Beloved Wife and Mom taken by breast cancer, still young. Helen’s transcendent final words were a message through time for us all. The quality and breadth of the life each of us has remaining is an individual choice. And if we choose it to be so we can slow down time. It is the most important thing we can do, both for ourselves and for those who love us and rely upon us. We can program ourselves so the moments, minutes, days, weeks, months, years, and decades will creep ever so slowly by, and we will get more out of what remains for ourselves no matter how early or late in life we are, than so many unenlightened souls will have a chance to relish in decades and decades of fast passing existence.

It occurs to me that it is quite commonplace to hear people proclaiming how fast the day, the week or the year went by. Never with an overtone of positivity. As human beings, each of knows that our life will one day end. Generally, at least while in a “healthy” state of mind and body, we have no idea when that end will come. However, based on our instinctive desire to exist, we hope and yearn for as much life, as much time as we can possibly fathom. With this in mind I must implore others to not follow the lead of the many people whose lives are passing so fast. If you want to slow down time, never again say things like “where did the day go”, “summer passed so quickly”, or “oh the year just flew by”. Contrarily, I am now compelled to as often as possible affirm to myself and others, thoughts and statements like “this year is going by so slowly”, “this week seemed to last forever”, or “the holidays feel like they were forever ago”. Now I will grant you that when times are anxious and one’s days are affected by personal crisis, emotional or physical challenge, not to mention upheaval such as that of the dreadful COVID crisis of 2020, it may be thought that we want such times not to linger. But never forget ~ we cannot force time to go by faster. We can only slow it down.

Long Life Ahead® was created as a blessing, Helen's Message ~ meant for all who may be suffering, those afflicted, and those affected . . . by cancer in all its forms and debilitating physical or mental impairment of whatever type. It comes to us from the astral plane, it will forever be Helen’s prescient blessing for us all, as we love and care for others in need, our beloved Oceans, our self, and our Earthly Ohana.

My first goal with was to see objects bearing the message of this affirmational brand in every medical institution retail shop/boutique in the United States, and through social media to offer and share worldwide, an inspirational theme of hope, representing a knowingness of the happiness still yet to come.
